Railway Bridge, Edinburgh Way
The slogan on the bridge refers to The Rochdale Society of Equitable Pioneers, a consumer co-operative founded in 1844 and the first to pay a patronage dividend. The Pioneers are widely regarded as the founders of the modern co-operative movement.
