Now demolished. The fine engine house is visible and the blind wall containing the rope race. At the extreme right is the corner of Marland Mill.

Marland and Mars Mills, Nixon Street, Rochdale.
Marland is closest and Mars beyond. The former survives today. Mars was 1906 and the engine house is for a horizontal layout whereas Marland's appears likely to have housed an inverted vertical.
