The church of SS Mary and Margaret > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2054469 dates mainly from the 14th century but an extensive restoration took place in the 19th century, and the brick tower was rebuilt at that time. The church houses a number of interesting monuments > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2054521 with the largest being in the chancel. It dates from the 17th century and commemorates Sir Thomas and Lady Adams > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2054527 - he suffered from calculus, and according to the epitaph a stone weighing 25 ozs was removed after his death. Lady Anne died giving birth to her 10th child at the age of 33. Monuments to members of the Corbet family > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2054561 can be seen in the north chapel. The glass in the east window is by Heaton, Butler & Bayne > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2054504 - the glass in the south aisle east window is by Jones & Willis.
