Ditchingham Dam
Ditchingham Dam was the A143 before Bungay bypass opened and carries two way traffic as far as Falcon Bridge. The signs on the left are located well inside Norfolk and the village of Ditchingham, as the county boundary - and the boundary between Bungay and Ditchingham - is the River Waveney.

Ditchingham Dam
The view along Ditchingham Dam towards Falcon Bridge and Bungay. Although this road is two-way traffic heading towards Bungay can only get as far as Falcon Bridge as Bridge Street is one-way. The filling station no longer sells petrol or diesel but was much busier when this was the main northbound route in and out of Bungay.
