The Bronzed and copper Memorial recalls William Fraser COOMBS who died at Johannesburg in 1900 during the South African Campaign.

The WW1 memorial is a recent acquisition and bears ten names. The brass plaque below is the WW2 Memorial and bears a single name.

All Saints' church in Mettingham - view west
All Saints' church > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1973933 as we see it today was built in the 14th and 15th centuries and extensively restored in Victorian times. It has retained its Norman north doorway > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1973938 and the baptismal font > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1973960 which is of the traditional East Anglian type.
