The Puddingmoor Stone
Another Glacial Erratic, buried deep into the bank. It is said that the sacredness of the stone was the reason for first settlement in the area.

The former Crown And Anchor and The Angel in Ballygate
The Crown and Anchor (near, 7, Ballygate) also traded as The Black Swan 1825 - 1830, then changed the name to The Crown and Anchor, finally closing in 1974.
The Angel next door, (5, Ballygate) was formerly the Maid's Head 1638 - 1733, and the Bull 1733 - 1792, when it was renamed The Angel finally closing in 1975. Both are currently used for solely residential purposes.

Bench mark on 'The Pickerel', Beccles
This bench mark is on what used to be a Public House called The Pickerel, it is now a private residence. The mark is about 65cms from ground level facing east on the front of the building facing into Puddingmoor, Beccles. GR TM42019 90391.
