Hadenham Road, South Lowestoft Industrial Estate
Hadenham Road is named after the Herbert Samuel Hadenham, the farmer who sold the land in November 1976, on which the South Lowestoft Industrial Estate is built. He was the last Lowestoft farmer to retire. Harvest Drive is another road which records the recent farming heritage of the area.

Fire at Food processing Factory
The fire is still smouldering after 18 hours; thankfully a gas installation remains unaffected by the fire which was next door to a filling station on the Gisleham Industrial Estate.
