Tower of St Spyridon's Church
The tower of Image is framed by lampposts, chimneys and aerials. Pevsner writes: "The tower has a tall first stage and a second split between big clock faces and paired lancets to the belfry." Originally the tower had pinnacles at the corners but these were removed in 1860, presumably because of safety concerns. The clock, alas, no longer shows the correct time.

The Greek Orthodox Church of St Spiridon the Wonderworker
Formerly it was the Church of St Peter, built 1831-3 by J J Scholes as one of the so-called Commissioners' Churches in Gothic Revival style. It was transferred to the Greek Orthodox Church in 1964. Listed Grade II.
