Nelson Road North (Kings Place) - The Lion public house
First documented as The Lion at 1/2 Kings Place, Nelson Road, in 1869, the pub then was known as the Lion Inn in 1886, and intermittently also as the Lion Tavern. The first recorded licensee was William Grew Greenwood from 1868-1888.
