Footpath to Martham
A public footpath starts here. It turns off Cess Lane, leading past a boatbuilders' yard to the village of Martham further to the east. The tower of St Mary's church in Martham can be glimpsed in the distance.

Janet 9 (A632) was built in the early 1950s by the Martham Boat Development Company aka Martham Boats and was last seen on the river in 2007. As the boatyard is upstream of the bridge, the builders had a serious limitation to contend with as all their boats had to be designed to fit under Potter Heigham Bridge, which is the smallest navigable bridge on the Broads.
