Repairing the sea defences at Scratby
Some 180m of defences are being rebuilt following the Beast from the East storm in 2018. The work will repair gabions (rock-filled cages) and reposition hexagonal concrete blocks.

Cottages on the cliff top
This terrace of cottages sits end on to the cliffs, the sea is just visible after the last cottage. I'm not sure if they are considered to be in the village of Scratby of California

WW2 Spigot Mortar post at Scratby
The spigot onto which the mortar was attached can be clearly seen. It is so positioned to bombard the beach below in the event of an attack. Being set low to the ground it would have been for a 'Blacker Bombard' type mortar
