Constructed from wrought iron and sheet steel the sign is divided into four areas. Top centre features Stokesby church surrounded by trees. to the left is a marshland scene with a bittern and grey heron. On the right is a scene on the River Bure, showing a pleasure yacht and a windpump on the bank. Bottom centre, a heavy horse is shown in an agricultural setting.
