72/74 St Benedicts Street -The Ten Bells public house
The pub dates from the early 18th century and is Grade 2 listed. For a closer view of the pub sign see > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5861243. A parish boundary marker plate is concealed behind the guttering. The Ten Bells used to be the home of Bullards gin distillery, which has since been moved to Crystal House > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5818829. The first recorded licensee was John Brett from 1760-1762 a worsted weaver.
