Park Lane, Norwich
Notwithstanding the seasonal message, a significant number of local residents have apparently been in long-standing disagreement over the proposed plans for the construction of "a yet-to-be-determined-number" of apartments (some of affordable status) on the site of this redundant Methodist Church and Church Hall. It closed c.2014-15. This is a view from the junction of Mill Hill Road with Park Lane.

St Peter's Methodist Church
Built from buff brick with brown brick detail to windows, this is an important community and landmark corner building in a style evocative of its time. It was built by local architect Cecil Yelf in 1939 and would seem currently to be awaiting restoration work. Immediately adjacent in the north (in Park Lane) is St Peter's Methodist Church Hall. Immediately to the west (in Avenue Road) is the Boys Brigade headquarters.
