Waiting for bread!
The village pond at Hempton is home to a large colony of ducks and drakes. They know a good location when they find one! People often arrive with chunks of bread and then feeding ritual begins - and it doesn't take long for the birds to come out of the water. In this case they are waiting for the next meal!

Fakenham West railway station (site), Norfolk
Opened in 1880 as "Fakenham Town" on what became the Midland & Great Northern Joint Railway from Leicester to Great Yarmouth, the name was changed to just Fakenham in 1898 and then Fakenham West in 1948. The station closed in 1959.
View north west towards Raynham Park and ultimately, Leicester. The station had 2 parallel platforms. The end of one of them still survived when this image was taken.
