Dilapidated Gates at County School
These gates are the northern most part of trackbed ownership for the Mid Norfolk Railway Trust. County school station is a short walk away.
The Trackbed north of County School to Fakenham Gas Museum (including M&GN trackbed) is in private hands but protected from development. The major obstacle being Great Ryburgh Maltings, being built on the trackbed.

Trackbed to County School

Platelayer's Hut near County School Station
These huts were used by the ganger or platelayer who walked the track each day looking for any damage to the rails or sleepers, to stop and brew some tea and have a rest. They were also provided with a small coal burning stove or range for heating and cooking.
