Labour-intensive bale transport
As in Image, the small bales are easy to handle but if loaded by hand it's useful to have helpers. Here a number of people, maybe eight or more, follow the trailer they've loaded back to the farm (Lings Farm)

Baling the old way on Great Heath by Ling Plantation
This original kind of small bale can be lifted manually. This can be an advantage in some situations but, when a trailer is to be loaded, availability of manpower is an advantage.
