Old Milestone by Walnut Farm, Dereham Road, Wendling
Metal plate attached to stone post by the UC road, in parish of WENDLING (BRECKLAND District), 25yds East of Walnut Farm, in managed verge, against hedge at rear of footpath on North side of road. Dereham iron plate, erected by the Norwich & Swaffham turnpike trust in the 19th century.
Inscription reads:- : DEREHAM / 4 / SWAFFHAM / 8 :
