66 St Leonards Road - the former Bakers Arms public house
The house nearest the camera used to be the Bakers Arms pub, with the first recorded licensee having been William Fulcher in 1861. Before it became a pub it used to be a bakery. The pub closed in October 2009, and by 2011 the house had been converted into a private dwelling, with four other houses built on the rest of the site.

Passage from Saunders Court to St Leonards Road
The buildings at right used to be the Bakers Arms > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6202424 with the first recorded licensee having been William Fulcher in 1861. Before it became a pub it was a bakery. The pub closed in October 2009, and by 2011 the house had been converted into a private dwelling, with four other houses built on the rest of the site. The only remaining historic street materials in this area are the granite setts depicted here.
