Cawston railway station - the former station building
The building has since been converted into a private residence. The railway line ran from County School via Themelthorpe > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/895499 to Aylsham > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/761149 - built by the Great Eastern Railway and completed in 1883, and from Themelthorpe to Norwich > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/760082 - built in 1882 by the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway (M&GN). Former Cawston station, 1986
View eastward, towards Aylsham and Wroxham: ex-GER Wroxham - County School line, closed 15/9/52. The station is now a private house: I stole into the yard - but seemed to be the only visitor.
