The original shop and post office here closed in 2004, leaving the community with no local facilities. After much hard work by a volunteer group, The Bryn Trading Post shop and post office opened on September 4th 2006. The Bryn Trading Post is a Community Interest Company, (a non-profit making company), run by volunteers for the benefit of the community.
