The Manor House, Trewyn
Grade II listed. A house dating from closely either side of 1700, but it has been considerably altered in the late C19 and its origins are uncertain. From the stonework of the front elevation it does appear to have begun as a house, but it is reported by the present owner to have been a mill at some time, and then converted back to a house

Trewyn House
If I won the lottery I may be tempted. One of those understated, secluded, utterly classy country houses that are just tucked away out of sight. Apparently it dates from 1695, is Grade II Listed and is available for private hire. It was at one time the seat of Philip Bartholomew Barneby esq., B.A., though who he was has escaped my notice. Rather elegant.

Trewyn House
The tree-lined road approaching Trewyn House is a public road. The house stands in the sheltered lee of the Black Mountains near Pandy. The website about the house informs: 'Trewyn is a William and Mary house dating back to 1690. The ancestral seat of Winston Churchill’s family'.
