Grade II Listed, probably 1840s, house in the style of Thomas Henry Wyatt (1807-1880). 23a is described as a terraced house whilst 23b is a one bedroom leasehold flat that seems to be at ground level to the rear.

Former school room, Castle Street, Abergavenny
Grade II Listed former school room to the adjacent Congregational Church (now Abergavenny United Reformed Church), built 1903 replacing a 1792 manse. The first floor currently (2022) houses the offices of Morgan & Horowskyj Architects. The Geraldine Harris School of Dance occupies the ground floor. Planning approved conversion to offices and nursery in April 1991. The inside has no historic features.

The lodge was built in the late 19th Century when the castle was taken over as a local amenity by the town improvement commissioners, with the gate and gate piers built at the same time.
