Nicholls, 19 Frogmore Street, Abergavenny
A purpose built Post Office in 1915. The Post Office moved to a site on Nevill Street in December 1968. In the 1970s and 80s it was a Co-operative store and in 1989-91 Robert Price DIY. Nicholls moved in c.1993. Prior to the post office, Kelly's lists Robert Isaac Houlson, photographer & cycle agent for about 20 years at 19 Frogmore Street but you have to be aware of potential street re-numbering. Listed building planning approval was obtained in May 2018 to form a door/opening between no.19 and the Grade II Listed no.18 although some openings did already exist.
