Start of narrow track, Twyn Wenallt
A public footpath on a partly overgrown hillside track lined by trees and bushes between fields. The track is a medieval trackway on the National Monuments Record of Wales. There is an ancient beech tree on the west side of the trackway.

Large beech tree in the hedgerow between a hillside meadow Image and a narrow track, a medieval trackway. Based on the tree's size, irregular appearance and the circumference of its trunk Image, I would estimate that the tree is over 500 years old.
