Iron Duke, Osborne Road, Pontypool
Viewed in January 2017. The Iron Duke pub was previous the John Capel Hanbury. The Iron Duke is a reference to former Rugby Union player Robert William (Bobby) Windsor (born in 1948), nicknamed The Duke, who in the 1970s played 28 times for Wales and 5 times for the British Lions. His autobiography is titled The Iron Duke.
