Car park, Silent Valley Local Nature Reserve
The timber in the centre has just been removed by a Gwent Wildlife Trust working party from a damaged boardwalk in front of the pole carrying a small solar panel.

Clawdd, car park, Silent Valley Local Nature Reserve
The low dry stone wall, 'clawdd', was built in late October 2015 by Gwent Wildlife Trust; Image shows the park before the wall was built. The red truck is a GWT work vehicle. The entrance to the woodland reserve is beyond the field.

The wooden bird is on an island in the car park, and is seen from a different angle in Image The entrance to the woodland reserve is the other end of the field. A low dry stone wall has since been built in front of the low wooden barriers.
