Train not yet at the Ebbw Vale terminus
When I was last here in 2014, Ebbw Vale Parkway station was the northern terminus of the line from Cardiff Central. From Sunday May 17th 2015 it has been a through station after the opening of the northern extension of the line to the new terminus at Ebbw Vale Town station. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4479502 Shortly after the new terminus opened, a friend (not an Ebbw Vale resident) told me that she got on a train here, expecting to go to Cardiff Central. When the train left "in the wrong direction" she exclaimed to her husband "There's no railway this way!". A few minutes later, her train did head south to Cardiff after terminating at Ebbw Vale Town station.
