Red phonebox in Tredegar
Located between Glyn Terrace and Pochin Crescent. At the early September 2013 date of this view, phoneboxes have disappeared from, or are no longer functioning in, many parts of the UK, because of the widespread use of mobile phones. However, in many rural areas, mobile phone signals are weak or non-existent, so perhaps these iconic phoneboxes will still be seen in some places for years to come...

Glyn Terrace and Pochin Crescent, Peacehaven
Peacehaven is situated on the east side of the Sirhowy valley south of Tredegar. This was once the main road from Tredegar to the south but is now bypassed by a road on the other side of the valley.
