Whitewashed houses, Malpas Road, Newport
Now with tiny front gardens, these houses formerly had much longer gardens.
The land was purchased c1970 to widen Malpas Road, now a dual carriageway road.

X3 to Cardiff in Malpas, Newport
The Stagecoach single decker is on the A4051 Malpas Road, part of route X3 from Pontypool to Cardiff via Cwmbran, Malpas and the M4 motorway. The X3 route does not include Newport city centre.
The bus will shortly enter the M4 motorway westbound at junction 26, about a kilometre away.

Hale Construction van in Malpas Road, Newport
Hale Construction was established by carpenter Jonathan Hale in 1996. At the time the company consisted of just Jonathan and one other member of staff. Since then it has grown rapidly and currently employs over 130 people, all based in Neath, Wales.
