Yellow Manchester coach at bus stop Q2, Queensway, Newport
I was surprised to see the words Transport for Greater Manchester on the back of this coach parked in the centre of Newport, South Wales, a long way from Manchester. My first thought was that this is likely to be a rail replacement coach, though when I was in Newport railway station shortly after taking this photo, I did not see any rail replacement services shown - trains appeared to be running more or less as normal on all routes.

The Old Post Office
The façade of the Old Post Office was retained when the site was redeveloped as a new shopping and office complex with an integral multi-storey car park. For an early view of this building see this http://www.bbc.co.uk/wales/southeast/sites/newport/pages/old_newport.shtml?10.
A blue plaque states:
Site of Newport's first Head Post Office. Built in 1844 and rebuilt in 1907, the Edwardian façade being preserved in the total reconstruction of the island site in 2001. Once housed the town's first telephone exchange, known as The Savoy. Listed Grade II in 1985.
