Travail Employment Group branch in Newport
The branch is in lower Stow Hill. Travail's Corporate Centre is at 24 Southgate Street in Gloucester.
In operation since 1977, Travail Employment Group's business is supplying permanent, temporary and contract staff. Travail in English means painful exertion, hardship or suffering, so perhaps the name was chosen to indicate that the firm does all the hard work on behalf of its clients. Or it may simply be a reference to the French travail meaning work.
