Newport : looking towards Llanarth Street from John Frost Square
In the foreground is the southern edge of John Frost Square. Llanarth Street runs from the edge of the Square to Commercial Street. Before the Square was built, Llanarth Street was about twice its current length, following a course towards and past the camera.
