Entrance to Orb Works, Newport
Following the closure of the entrance http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1624797 at the northeast edge of the site, this entrance at the other end of the site, near the Transporter Bridge end of Stephenson Street, is now the only vehicular entrance to Orb Works. Authorised pedestrians can enter the Orb site through a turnstile http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1575853 on Corporation Road.

Public inconveniences, Coronation Park, Newport
The public toilets in Coronation Park were definitely not a convenience on this Friday early afternoon - the gates at both the men's entrance seen here, and the women's entrance on the other side of the building, were padlocked.

Newport Wastesavers
Esperanto Way headquarters of Newport Wastesavers. Wastesavers are a community not-for-profit recycling group who run a range of services in SE Wales. They are well-known to Newport residents for their weekly kerbside collections from their green and blue recycling boxes, run in partnership with Newport City Council. In addition, they operate recycling services for businesses in Newport and Cardiff, and also run training and educational projects and a furniture reuse scheme.
