Contrasting property styles in Bishton village
The historic old farmhouse has thick walls and small windows and I'm sure a wealth of historic interior features like low beams etc whereas its modern neighbour has plenty of glass and all mod cons. I know which I would prefer to live in and which I would prefer to look at.

Old farmhouse in Bishton
I don't know who the next residents will be, but as I passed today in early February, there were several pairs of birds looking to take up residency shortly. I saw a pair of doves on a wire above, facing this old house and looking for all the world like they were discussing its possibilities. A pair of Jackdaws hopped about on the chimney too.
