St David Lewis and St Francis Xavier Catholic Church Usk
The church is dedicated to David Lewis, a local Jesuit priest who was arrested and executed in 1678 after being implicated in a plot of treason. The church was built in 1867. 'Church and chapel' series visited by bike from home.

Arrow slit window
One of several in the circular Garrison Tower, Usk Castle, demonstrating the thickness of the tower walls.
This was the only part of the castle where I got a really creepy feeling - hairs raised on the back of the neck stuff.
