Late November 2016 fuel prices in rural Monmouthshire
On Sunday November 27th 2016, the display at the edge of the Forge Garage Llantrisant http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5211166 shows 118.9 pence per litre for unleaded petrol, 116.9 pence per litre for diesel. I interpreted the 00.0 to mean that four star petrol is unavailable rather than free...

A roadside garage and filling station that I recall from my childhood and youth; unchanged and untroubled by 'progress', still serving a loyal rural clientele of farmers, villagers and tourists. Good for them.

Three pumps, a few reconditioned vehicles for sale, a tiny shop. Neat and well presented. No over-commercialisation. Refreshing.
