Chris Waite car sales, Rock Garage
Garage located alongside the A4048 in the small community of Rock, between Argoed and Blackwood.
What caught my eye was the gallery of celebrities alongside the sign - of the five figures visible, I don't recognise the one at the left corner. The rest are, from left to right :
Elvis
Bogart
John Belushi in his "Joliet" Jake Blues role in The Blues Brothers
Marilyn Monroe.
It looks like the owner has been inspired by the name of the garage, to create a Rock'n'Roll and Hollywood tribute gallery.

Colourful mural alongside A4048
Located on the northern approach to Blackwood from Argoed. The derelict, boarded-up building is adorned with a mural depicting countryside scenes and several oversized bees. Jigsaw shapes are included in the mural. The only words on the mural are "worker bees.." in the lower left corner, and "by Peaceful Progress.." in the lower right corner.
