Crosskeys and Risca from Mynydd Machen
From a minor road on the Northern slopes of Mynydd Machen one gets a good view, even in the rain, of the Ebbw Valley with the linear settlements of Crosskeys and Risca on the northern bank of the river. The prominent round wooded hill behind is Coed Mam-gu.
