Entrance to Pye Corner railway station, Newport
From Western Valley Road opposite High Cross Lane. The newly built station on the Cardiff Central to Ebbw Vale route opened on December 14th 2014, when the northern terminus was Ebbw Vale Parkway. At the late May 2015 date of this view, the northern terminus is at Ebbw Vale Town which opened on Sunday May 17th 2015.

Notices at the SE end of Pye Corner station, Newport
In December 2022 text on the Samaritans notice on the left includes "Talk to us, we'll listen". Text on the central notice includes "Passengers must not cross the line" and "Warning Do not trespass on the railway. Penalty £1000". The text is also in Welsh. The British Transport Police and Network Rail notice on the right shows "This area is under surveillance. Trespassers and thieves will be prosecuted". The text is also in Welsh.
