Corner of Blacksmith's Lane
Lovely ironstone building but with a brick north wall. That side of the house looks to have been an addition.

The Forge, Little Brimpton
Thatch and ironstone are much in evidence in this part of the world. The scalloped decoration on the thatch ridge seems traditional in this area.

Approaching Little Brington
Approaching across fields on a footpath from Great Brington, it is immediately apparent that Little Brington dominates the skyline. This is on the Macmillan Way long distance path.

Byway to Upper Heyford
Looking SSW from the Little Brington end of the byway to Glassthorpe and Upper Heyford (at the time of this photograph the byway was closed to vehicular traffic, apparently to allow the surface to recover). The flat-topped hill to the centre right is Glassthorpe Hill.
