St.John the Baptist, Hartwell
The church was completed in 1851 incorporating the pillars and capitals removed from the old church which was near Chapel Farm and believed to be of Norman origin.

St John's Church at Hartwell, West Elevation
The Church of St John the Baptist at Hartwell is a Grade II* listed building (Historic England List entry Number: 1040826 https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1040826 ). It was built in 1851 in Norman and Early English styles, retaining the Transitional north arcade of a mediæval church. There is a prominent bell cote at the west end of the church.
