Brixworth Post Office
On Spratton Road. Next to the P.O. is a pharmacy and at the far end of the row of shops is a fish bar (green). There is a 'for sale' notice in the window above the P.O.

Brixworth Union Workhouse
Erected in 1835-6 to accommodate 265 inmates. Conditions were described as "prison-like and spartan", while food was "meagre and tasteless", according to Brixworth History Society. Has since been used as the local council offices and is now home to a firm of surveyors called QMP.
