A428 railway bridge
This is the A428 Northampton to Rugby road. The railway over the top is also from Northampton to Rugby and was the location of the former Althorp Park station. The bridleway to Holdenby turns right off the road just beyond the purple shrub on the left and the large tree on the right, behind the barn.

Site of Althorp Park Station
There is now no sign of Althorp Park station on the Rugby - Northampton line at the point where it crosses the A428. The station closed in June 1960. Note that the signs to Great Brington and 'The Bringtons' (ie. Great Brington and Little Brington) contradict each other.
