Bridge 15A, Grand Junction Canal - Northampton Arm
Site of the most westerly of the two former L&NWR Northampton & Peterborough Branch line bridges that cross the canal (Bridge 16 is still in situ). This, bridge 15 and 16 are all visible on the first Ordnance Survey maps so it's assumed they would have had different numbers at that time. For purposes of modern day classification, I've called this one 15A

Grand Union Canal, Northampton Arm
The wall on the right is a flood defence, built in 2000. This pound of the canal is only one lock above the downstream river level, and it seems is liable to overtopping by the river when in flood.
