Boughton House
Boughton House has been referred to as 'The English Versailles' and is the English home of the Duke of Buccleuch and Queensberry. The house is largely unchanged since the late seventeenth century when the French influenced house was completed by former French Ambassador, Ralph Montagu, later 1st Duke of Montagu.
