Besides Brackley, this TE also serves Evenley, Halse, Hinton-in-the-Hedges, Radstone, Turweston and Westbury nearby. The carved wooden pulpit boasts coats of arms, in relief. At the left is that of Bishop William of Waynflete, used by the school and by the parent Oxford college, his foundation. The school's motto, "Sicut Lilium", refers to the lilies in this coat of arms, which in turn represent a tenuous link with Eton College, since they were added to represent William of Waynflete's association with Eton, from the arms of which the lily is borrowed.

The cricket square is in the middle of the field. It was a considerable event when anyone managed to hit a ball through the chapel east window. To the right of the chapel can be seen the Methodist church (across the road from the school) and to the right again, in the middle of the scene, is the Master's lodgings.
