Medi?val Fishpond at Magdalen College School, Brackley, Northants
Originally a resource for the monastic foundation on the site, this pond, when frozen, was latterly used on occasion (before 1970) by the boarders, for skating.

Magdalen College School, Brackley, Northants: the former CCF hut
This hut, now derelict, was used up to the 1960s by the Signals section of the school's Combined Cadet Force. To the west of it was a miniature rifle range, now demolished.

The cricket square is in the middle of the field. It was a considerable event when anyone managed to hit a ball through the chapel east window. To the right of the chapel can be seen the Methodist church (across the road from the school) and to the right again, in the middle of the scene, is the Master's lodgings.
