Site of former Helmdon Village station
View eastward, towards Towcester and Blisworth: ex-Stratford & Midland Junction Railway Blisworth - Towcester - Banbury branch line. The branch had been closed since 29/10/51, the station ('Helmdon LMS' until 1/7/50) having lost its passenger service from 2/7/51.

Old Farm Buildings Helmdon
These old buildings on the northern edge of the village are generally in a poor condition and the central section of the large old stone barn has collapsed completely. This barn had been photographed 10 years previously and appeared to be in relatively good condition.Image
