Sandstone cliffs at Stapleford
These cliffs are visible from the main road for a short stretch due to the demolition work in the foreground. The sandstone characterises the Bramcote and Stapleford areas, the most famous local example being the Hemlock Stone at Bramcote

119-121 Nottingham Road, Stapleford
The large top floor windows identify these as cottages built for laceworkers, with well-lit workshops. Early 19th century, Listed Grade II. The traditional casement windows have been replaced with very plain modern frames.
